  • Easter Parade -- "Rosie", as he was affectionately known, died of either a heart attack of aneurysm on December 30, 2003. Jim was home teaching and was at Rosie's side when the 22 year old thoroughbred died. He is missed tremendously by Jim, the working students and others that frequent Meadow Run Farm.

Rosie's most notable accomplishments include finishing 3rd in the 1990 Fair Hill CCI***, 9th in the 1992 Rolex Kentucky CCI***, and twice jumping clear at the Burghley CCI**** in England finishing 15th in 1992 and 12th in 1993. In 1994 Jim and Rosie represented the USET at the World Equestrian Games at the Hague providing the team a clear cross country run. Jim and Rosie continued their upper level competition with an 11th place finish at the 1996 Rolex CCI*** and then completing the 1997 Punchestown CCI*** in Ireland before Rosie's upper level retirement.
